Pronoun is a word used instead of noun. Yoruba pronouns are as follows :
1. A /ah/. It's a one letter word, commonly used for : he, she or it.2. Awa /ah-wah/. Meaning : we. In conversation, awa, may be shortened and stress as : aa /aah/
3. Awọn /ah-won/. Meaning : they. In conversation, awọn, may be shortened to : wọn..
4. E /hay/. It's a one letter word, dialectically used for ; he, she or it.
5. Emi /ei-me/. Meaning : I. In conversation, emi, may be shortened to : mi or m.
6. Ẹ /hel/. It's a one letter word commonly used for : he, she, it. Also it's used for singular and plural : you
7. Ẹyin /hel-yin/. Meaning : you, either in the plural or singular form. In conversation, ẹyin, may be shortened to : yin.
8. I /e/. It's a one letter word, dialectically used for : he, she, it.
