In the morning, individual at home, on the road, and at work will greet each other by saying: ''Ẹ k arọ ó! /hel kar ror o/

In the afternoon, they greet each other by saying: Ẹ k asán o! /hel kar son o/

In the evening before the sunset, they will greet each other by saying : Ẹ ku irọlẹ o! /hel koo he raw lel o/

In the evening after the sunset, they will greet each other by saying ' Ẹ k alẹ ó! /hel kar lel o/.

During bedtime, individuals at home and in other places exchange greetings by saying: "ó dà arọ o' which translates to 'till tomorrow.' This is our way of saying 'good night.'
